The proposed development envisions neighborhood-serving shops and restaurants to bring needed amenities to the area via approximately 8300 square feet of ground floor retail space.
Bus transportation is available within half a block of the property on Belvedere Avenue and one block away on Park Heights Avenue. The Rogers Avenue Baltimore Metro station is approximately one mile away.

BRIDGES Community Development Corporation is an emerging non-profit developer, launched by Manna Bible Baptist Church, which has served the Park Heights community for over 50 years. The leadership of BRIDGES has over 25 years of real estate and development experience. Leaders of BRIDGES CDC attended the Enterprise Community Partners – Faith-Based Development program at the University of Baltimore to improve their development skills, which led to the creation of the Belvedere Place Master Plan, including the vision for the Belvedere Place, vacant row house renovations and the construction of a 13,000 SF Nutrition Center.
Unity Properties, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bon Secours Community Works, is a highly experienced local developer which works exclusively in Baltimore City. The firm has recently developed New Shiloh II Apartments (73 units) and Gibbons Apartments (80 units) utilizing the LIHTC program, as well as local Baltimore City funds. Over the past 30 years, Unity has developed 800 units of affordable housing at 9 developments for families, seniors and the disabled. Projects include six projects for seniors and/or the disabled, two buildings for families, and scattered site row homes for families along West Baltimore Street.
